Two men meet on the street. One asks the other: "Hi, how are you?"
The other ones replies: "I'm fine, thanks."
"And how's your son? Is he still unemployed?"
"Yes, he is. But he is meditating now."
"Meditating? What's that?"
"I don't know. But it's better than sitting around and doing nothing!"

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

It is such a Gorgeous June Sunday here at the Church Within Light and Life Gardens, I think I will just spend it pursuing one of my Passions… caring for the Gardens.

Thank you Minister Jill for the opportunity and the inspiration to do just that…

(From: Søren Kierkegaard)
If I were to wish for anything, I should not wish for wealth and power, but for the passionate sense of potential -- for the eye which, ever young and ardent, sees the possible. Pleasure disappoints; possibility never.

(From: ) The Urantia Papers - Paper 1592 - Section-1)
"Your spirit unity implies two things, which always will be found to harmonize in the lives of individual believers: First, you are possessed with a common motive for life service; you all desire above everything to do the will of the Father in heaven. Second, you all have a common goal of existence; you all purpose to find the Father in heaven, thereby proving to the universe that you have become like him."

(From: Ivan Pavlov 1849-1936)
What can I wish to the youth of my country who devote themselves to science? ...Thirdly, passion. Remember that science demands from a man all his life. If you had two lives that would not be enough for you. Be passionate in your work and in your searching.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper 34 - Section-1)
"The Creator God is wholly devoid of fear and enmity. He is immortal, eternal, self-existent, divine, and bountiful." "How pure and beautiful, how deep and unfathomable is the supernal Ancestor of all things!" "The Infinite is most excellent in that he imparts himself to men. He is the beginning and the end, the Father of every good and perfect purpose." "With God all things are possible; the eternal Creator is the cause of causes."

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper 43- Section-5)
Truth is coherent, beauty attractive, goodness stabilizing. And when these values of that which is real are co-ordinated in personality experience, the result is a high order of love conditioned by wisdom and qualified by loyalty.

(From: Giovanni Jacopa Casanova 1725-1798)
I have always loved truth so passionately that I have often resorted to lying as a way of introducing it into the minds which were ignorant of its charms.

The Sermon
***********
Good morning my fellow sojourners of Life. Have you ever thought about what makes life Feel good to you? Can you remember times when you've felt Really depressed and thought you would never get through it? You know, just plain discouraged, hopeless. Most people I know have had such periods in their life, but they didn't stay there forever.

What happened to move each of us back into the lifestream?

Passion!

Passion for Something! We began to Care about Something or Someone… or Heaven help us, even Ourself!

And what else happened?

We discovered there was Something we could Do about our situation. We discovered we had Something We could do as an Individual that would make a difference. We could invest ourselves in the situation, the cause, the cry for change we saw and felt, be it an inner cry for change and transformation or an external need for action to bring about a good experience, to "right" something that was wrong. We acted.

What drove us to act, at That time, in That way?

Passion!

But what is this elusive concept "Passion"? Where does it come from? When you think of passion what do you think of? Words such as Inspiration, Insight, Compassion, Emotions, and Purpose come to mind for me. When I look back on those numerous times when I have been depressed in the past, I can now see that Passion was at the core of my healing, and that Passion had an orderliness to it. It didn't just happen. In the depths of depression I turned to God automatically. Most of us seem to, even if we don't Really think that we are spiritual, or religious, or have a Relationship with God, that Higher Power, that Omnipresent and Omniscient "Something" that we acknowledge. You know, when we silently cry out in despair, "God! Help me! I don't know What to do!

And there it is, that Inspiration "out of the blue." The nudge to do something and we act on it, not even recognizing that the nudge is there. That nudge may have come from within, or it may have been a person who said some simple thing that got us thinking, but it Was Provided for us in answer to our cry! It seems that first there was the inspirational nudge. Then the insight… that "aha!" came. That "aha!" was that I Cared… and that caring, that compassion, the emotions related to caring, guided me to Want to do Something. Suddenly, without thinking, I was actively participating in life again. I had Purpose! I began to Feel Good! As I look back I realize that at the time none of those steps were conscious. They just Happened once God stepped in, at my request, and gave me Passion for Life.

Have you found your Passion for life that makes you look forward to getting up each morning,
that inspires you to be a Human "Being" instead of just a Human "Doing"?

Let us all seek to find and hold on to the Passion that guides us to Be our Father's Will in every thought, word, and deed; to discover our True Purpose in life. You know, that "His Will" stuff. He has given us each unique talents upon which to demonstrate His Will to others. What an example we will be able to set for all others with His Passion at the helm. And just think about what changes in this world will come about as a result of our demonstrated Passion. And in being our Passionate self, when others ask, "What makes you So happy all the time?" it will be easy to say…

Passion!

*******************************************
The Prayer
**********
Dear God,
Thank you for hearing our calls for help and giving us Your Passion for Life, for Love, for Truth, and for Beauty upon which to reconstruct our own lives and thereby to change the consciousness of our world.

We ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal Parent, our Personal Father in Heaven. Thank God!

Minister Jill

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday.
"I've gone for 30 years" he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."
This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor.
It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: "I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this: They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"

(From: Harold Taylor)
The roots of true achievement lie in the will to become the best that you can become.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-118 Section-1)
The personality of the mortal creature may eternalize by self-identification with the indwelling spirit through the technique of choosing to do the will of the Father. Such a consecration of will is tantamount to the realization of eternity-reality of purpose. This means that the purpose of the creature has become fixed with regard to the succession of moments; stated otherwise, that the succession of moments will witness no change in creature purpose. A million or a billion moments makes no difference. Number has ceased to have meaning with regard to the creature's purpose.

(From: The RSV Bible - Ephesians 6:6)
not in the way of eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

(From: Gandhi)
In the attitude of silence the soul finds the path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness. Our life is a long and arduous quest after Truth.

(From: The RSV Bible - Peter I 3:17)
For it is better to suffer for doing right, if that should be God's will, than for doing wrong.

(From: Abraham Lincoln)
Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any one thing.

(From: The RSV Bible - Matthew 21:28-31)
"What do you think? A man had two sons; and he went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work in the vineyard today.' And he answered, 'I will not'; but afterward he repented and went. And he went to the second and said the same; and he answered, 'I go, sir,' but did not go. Which of the two did the will of his father?"

(From: ) The Urantia Papers - Paper-39 Section-4)
The keys of the kingdom of heaven are: sincerity, more sincerity, and more sincerity. All men have these keys. Men use them--advance in spirit status--by decisions, by more decisions, and by more decisions. The highest moral choice is the choice of the highest possible value, and always--in any sphere, in all of them--this is to choose to do the will of God.

(From: Gandhi)
Infinite striving to be the best is man's duty, it is it's own reward. Everything else is in God's hands.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-142 Section-6)
Jesus answered: "Already does the spirit of the Father in heaven indwell you. If you would be led by this spirit from above, very soon would you begin to see with the eyes of the spirit, and then by the wholehearted choice of spirit guidance would you be born of the spirit since your only purpose in living would be to do the will of your Father who is in heaven. And so finding yourself born of the spirit and happily in the kingdom of God, you would begin to bear in your daily life the abundant fruits of the spirit."

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-181 Section-1)
The peace of Jesus is the joy and satisfaction of a God-knowing individual who has achieved the triumph of learning fully how to do the will of God while living the mortal life in the flesh. The peace of Jesus' mind was founded on an absolute human faith in the actuality of the divine Father's wise and sympathetic overcare.

(From: The American Standard Bible - Romans 12:2)
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-111 Section-5)
This choosing of the Father's will is the spiritual finding of the spirit Father by mortal man, even though an age must pass before the creature son may actually stand in the factual presence of God on Paradise. This choosing does not so much consist in the negation of creature will--"Not my will but yours be done"--as it consists in the creature's positive affirmation: "It is my will that your will be done." And if this choice is made, sooner or later will the God-choosing son find inner union (fusion) with the indwelling God fragment, while this same perfecting son will find supreme personality satisfaction in the worship communion of the personality of man and the personality of his Maker, two personalities whose creative attributes have eternally joined in self-willed mutuality of expression--the birth of another eternal partnership of the will of man and the will of God.

(From: My Dad - Harold J. Megow)
"You're missing it Closer."

(From: Abraham Lincoln)
And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

The Sermon
***********
How does one go about doing God's Will?

Is it even Possible?

Certainly it Must be, don't ya Think?

Is it God's will that you give up everything that is Fun?

I'd hardly think so… although Ego has a tendency to equate the two.

Is it God's will that you get everything right the first time… that you never make mistakes?

Sure… like That could ever happen. More likely it is that one Tries to do their very best, and Learns from the mistakes…Suppose?

Is it God's will that you memorize scriptures and quote them to everybody you meet so that They will become better people?

Or rather… that you learn and grow from everything you read so that You may become a better person?

Isn't it Likely that the Conscious Act of Trying to do God's will is Actually God's will for you in that moment? God would Want you to Try, wouldn't He?

Humans do not instinctively Know God's Will, they must Discover it… through Faith, through Hope, through Experience.

It is Important to learn God's will so that we may the better do it, but it is important also to learn what is not God's will so we may do it not again.

In Pursuing God's Will,
God is the Pilot…
Faith is the Vehicle…
Hope is the Fuel…
Love is the Light by which we may be guided toward and See it.

So… How does one go about doing God's Will?

By sincerely Trying to do it.

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

I'd like to wish All Loving Fathers a Very Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day this year, my family gave me a Kiwi plant! It is an "Issai Kiwi" which is a little sweeter than the more common store variety and also has no fuzz on it's skin, so ya don't have to peel it… just enjoy it skin and all. It is a perennial vine that "quickly grows to 25-35 ft." and now has a new permanent home in our Faith Garden.

Speaking of Father's Day…

When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-188 Section-4)
When once you grasp the idea of God as a true and loving Father, the only concept which Jesus ever taught, you must forthwith, in all consistency, utterly abandon all those primitive notions about God as an offended monarch, a stern and all-powerful ruler whose chief delight is to detect his subjects in wrongdoing and to see that they are adequately punished, unless some being almost equal to himself should volunteer to suffer for them, to die as a substitute and in their stead.

(From: The RSV Bible - Psalm 89:26)
He shall cry to me, 'Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.'

(From: Tyron Edwards)
Whoever in prayer can say, "Our Father," acknowledges and should feel the brotherhood of the whole race of mankind.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-4 Section-4)
In God the Father freewill performances are not ruled by power, nor are they guided by intellect alone; the divine personality is defined as consisting in spirit and manifesting himself to the universes as love. Therefore, in all his personal relations with the creature personalities of the universes, the First Source and Center is always and consistently a loving Father. God is a Father in the highest sense of the term. He is eternally motivated by the perfect idealism of divine love, and that tender nature finds its strongest expression and greatest satisfaction in loving and being loved.

(From: The RSV Bible - Matthew 5:16)
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

One can become a father with little or no effort… even accidentally…

…but it takes a Lifetime of Effort, Forgiveness, Understanding, Wisdom, Sacrifice, Patience, Purpose and above all Unconditional Love to actually Be a Father.

The more Godlike a man is, the better Father he can be, is, and will be.

Three monks decided to practice meditation together. They sat by the side of a lake and closed their eyes in concentration. Then suddenly, the first one stood up and said, "I forgot my mat." He stepped miraculously onto the water in front of him and walked across the lake to their hut on the other side.
When he returned, the second monk stood up and said, "I forgot to put my other underwear to dry." He too walked calmly across the water and returned the same way.
The third monk watched the first two carefully in what he decided must be the test of his own abilities.
"Is your learning so superior to mine? I too can match any feat you two can perform," he declared loudly and rushed to the water's edge to walk across it. He promptly fell into the deep water.
Undeterred, the yogi climbed out of the water and tried again, only to sink into the water. Yet again he climbed out and yet again he tried, each time sinking into the water. This went on for some time as the other two monks watched.
After a while, the second monk turned to the first and said, "Do you think we should tell him where the stones are?"

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

Even though I am doing this Sunday's Service early Sunday Morning, you are likely not receiving it 'till Monday due to the fact that I was unable to Connect to the Internet and my ISP is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Of Course it happens on the Sunday we have our 300th consecutive Sunday Service, right?

NOTE: We recently received a bill for $376.00 from our Internet Service Provider to continue Internet Service for churchwithin.org for another year. They do not allow monthly payments for Domain Hosting, and so having no Church or Personal resources to fall back on, we are at somewhat of a loss as to how we can keep the Church Within On-Line Services flowing without interruption after the end of this month. Any help in this matter would be Greatly Appreciated by us and All who enjoy our Weekly Services. Tax Deductible Donations to help in this Cause may be sent to:

Well, here is the Church Within Sunday Service #300… a day late and hopefully… just at the right time…

(From: The RSV Bible - John 3:6-8)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.' The wind blows where it wills, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of the Spirit."

(From: The RSV Bible - John 4:23-24)
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for such the Father seeks to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-155 Section-5)
The religion of the spirit means effort, struggle, conflict, faith, determination, love, loyalty, and progress. The religion of the mind--the theology of authority--requires little or none of these exertions from its formal believers. Tradition is a safe refuge and an easy path for those fearful and halfhearted souls who instinctively shun the spirit struggles and mental uncertainties associated with those faith voyages of daring adventure out upon the high seas of unexplored truth in search for the farther shores of spiritual realities as they may be discovered by the progressive human mind and experienced by the evolving human soul.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-133 Section-4)
"You do well to choose the best and esteem the good, but are you wise when you fail to discern the greater things of mortal life which are embodied in the spirit realms derived from the realization of the presence of God in the human heart? The great thing in all human experience is the realization of knowing the God whose spirit lives within you and seeks to lead you forth on that long and almost endless journey of attaining the personal presence of our common Father, the God of all creation, the Lord of universes."

(From: The RSV Bible - John 14:27)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

(From: Tao Te Ching #55)
The Master's power is like this.
He lets all things come and go
effortlessly, without desire.
He never expects results;
thus he is never disappointed.
He is never disappointed;
thus his spirit never grows old.

The Sermon
***********
The Spiritual Journey is very much like the reading of a Good Book in that… You can only get so far without being willing to "Turn the Page."

Turning pages in a book is pretty much taken for granted, wouldn't you say? I mean, who would sit there and just read the first page of a good book, and then be satisfied to put it down? Sure, like… "I better make sure I Really have a full grasp of that first page before I'll be willing or able to go on further." Yeah Right… Ya Think? ;-)

Turning the Pages in the Spiritual Journey is for many, quite difficult… quite frightening. When a person discovers something Profound and it changes the way they View Life, the way they Think about Life, perchance (if fortunate) even the way they Live their Life, then… it can seem foolish to "turn the page" …as if… they might lose everything worthwhile they had gained on that page by seeing what comes Next, on the Next Page. But… you never can tell, the next page could very well be instructions for how to get the most Out of the previous page. Hardly Scary, Right? Or… it Could be, just Could be another one of those Monumental Discoveries again… "But That would require Change! What if it causes me to lose everything I've believed about myself for so long? I don't know if I could Survive it." It is my repeated experience, that turning that Spiritual page causes the loss of Nothing… except perhaps a little ignorance or misconception. Those are good things to lose.
I remember well the Terror of my ego when my Soul decided it was time to give All Control of my life over to God. "What? Are You NUTS? There's no way you could do That! You just need to learn to Control YourSelf!"…and other assorted internal arguments. WHEW! Ego does NOT want to give up Control… you ever notice that?
When my ego finally realized that my Soul wasn't going to give up, it became somewhat Craftier. It would then try, "OK! I'll give up Everything to God! Control over Everything! …except maybe just this one little bitty thing that I can deal with myself… Everything Else though, OK? That work for You God? That would be Quite an Improvement, wouldn't it?"
It's Amazing how long ego can hold on to that "one little bitty thing" being afraid of life going Totally Out of Control… being taken completely out of your hands. "Yes," says Soul, "but then it is in God's Hands! After all this time, why do you not believe yet how completely God Loves you and wants only the Best for you?" But eventually, with persistence, ego wears down and there enters into life an experience so uncontrollable that ego blurts out… without thinking of course ;-)… "I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! God, PLEASE Take it!" …and then if Soul is quick enough to act, "Yes. You're Right! Let us give it ALL over to God this time. It couldn't Possibly be worse, Right?"… there is a chance, albeit a very small window of opportunity, that ego will agree to take that Supreme Step of giving Conscious and Unconditional Control of destiny and life to God in that moment.
The very first time I Took that Giant, Gargantuan step, I was astounded at how small and simple a step it really Was… and yet the world was Instantly so Different. It made So Much Sense! No fear, only Trust! No doubt, only Faith in God's Love. It didn't take long to realize that I almost immediately had More Control in my life than I had Ever before! God had given it All and More right Back to me… Only after I freely gave it to Him. But it had been Transformed into Self Control. The old urges to control Others had become as ghosts… for the most part… at least for This part. For a while there it's easy to think that ego has gone away or vanished maybe!
Eventually though, ya' discover that Ego was Only on a Well Earned Vacation---giving up all control was an exhausting enterprise---and has returned with a different job, a Promotion of sorts. Now it's job is to Stimulate and Bring to Attention, Each and Every way I have not yet attained God's Perfection… and it Takes that Job very Seriously. I was fairly quick to discover that Ego had a well-nigh Unlimited reservoir of imperfections to stimulate and bring attention to. Though disconcerting in the moment, it IS another opportunity to recognize an area of life that needs a change for the better… and that should be the whole Purpose now Right?

A relative amount of Turmoil and Struggle can be observed/felt when once again it is time to "Turn the Page" yet one more time… there's Always another and more Astounding Page while on the Spiritual Journey.

If Only one's Willing to Turn the page…

A Western Buddhist woman was In India, studying with her teacher. She was riding with another woman friend in a rickshaw-like carriage, when they were attacked by a man on the street. In the end, the attacker only succeeded in frightening the women, but the Buddhist woman was quite upset by the event and told her teacher so. She asked him what she should have done - what would have been the appropriate, Buddhist response.
The teacher said very simply, "You should have very mindfully and with great compassion whacked the attacker over the head with your umbrella."

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

This Morning, Minister Jill and I did a Tag-Team Sunday Service. I did the "Humor of the Week", The "Welcome by: Pastor Daniel" (as usual ;-D), and then the "Quotes." Minister Jill then Bravely took the Tag as the pressure started building up and finished off Brilliantly, (I would say), with today's "Sermon" and "Prayer."

It is about something Very Personal that Each and Every One of us could benefit Immensely by allowing More of it into our Inner and Outer Lives…

(From: Alfred A. Montapert)
The main source of our wealth is goodness; the affections and the generous qualities that God admires in a world full of greed.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-132 Section-3)
Spiritual evolution is an experience of the increasing and voluntary choice of goodness attended by an equal and progressive diminution of the possibility of evil. With the attainment of finality of choice for goodness and of completed capacity for truth appreciation, there comes into existence a perfection of beauty and holiness whose righteousness eternally inhibits the possibility of the emergence of even the concept of potential evil. Such a God-knowing soul casts no shadow of doubting evil when functioning on such a high spirit level of divine goodness.

(By: Brendan Kennelly)
"The Good"

The good are vulnerable
As any bird in flight,
They do not think of safety,
Are blind to possible extinction
And when most vulnerable
Are most themselves.

The good are real as the sun,
Are best perceived through clouds
Of casual corruption.
They cannot kill the luminous sufficiency
That shines on city, sea and wilderness,
Fastidiously revealing
One man to another,
Who yet will not accept
Responsibilities of light.

The good incline to praise.
To have the knack of seeing that
The best is not destroyed
Although forever threatened
The good go naked in all weathers,
And by their nakedness rebuke
The small protective sanities
That hide men from themselves.

The good are difficult to see
Though open, rare destructible:
Always, they retain a kind of youth,
The vulnerable grace
Of any bird in flight,
Content to be itself,
Accomplished master and potential victim,
Accepting what the earth or sky intends.
I think that I know one or two
Among my friends.

(From: Euripides (485 BC - 406 BC)
When good men die their goodness does not perish, but lives though they are gone. As for the bad, All that was theirs dies and is buried with them.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-2 Section-7)
The religious challenge of this age is to those farseeing and forward-looking men and women of spiritual insight who will dare to construct a new and appealing philosophy of living out of the enlarged and exquisitely integrated modern concepts of cosmic truth, universe beauty, and divine goodness. Such a new and righteous vision of morality will attract all that is good in the mind of man and challenge that which is best in the human soul. Truth, beauty, and goodness are divine realities, and as man ascends the scale of spiritual living, these supreme qualities of the Eternal become increasingly co-ordinated and unified in God, who is love.

(From: Henry David Thoreau)
Goodness is the only investment that never fails.

(From: The RSV Bible - Galatians 5:22-23)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such there is no law.

(From: Albert Einstein)
The ideals which have always shone before me and filled me with the joy of living are goodness, beauty, and truth. To make a goal of comfort or happiness has never appealed to me; a system of ethics built on this basis would be sufficient only for a herd of cattle.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-102 Section-3)
Religious desire is the hunger quest for divine reality. Religious experience is the realization of the consciousness of having found God. And when a human being does find God, there is experienced within the soul of that being such an indescribable restlessness of triumph in discovery that he is impelled to seek loving service-contact with his less illuminated fellows, not to disclose that he has found God, but rather to allow the overflow of the welling-up of eternal goodness within his own soul to refresh and ennoble his fellows. Real religion leads to increased social service.

(From: Heloise (1098 - 1164)
Riches and power are but gifts of blind fate, whereas goodness is the result of one's own merits.

The Sermon
***********
G iving goodwill to others in any given moment, through allowing Father's Love to flow through us to others, is a sacred moment in time.
O nce one tastes the joy of giving unconditional, compassionate and genuine love to a brother or sister, that individual can never go back to conditional terms of love and feel satisfaction.
O f little worth are material riches if one lives in constant fear of losing them. Being able to choose a life of good actions, regardless of material consequences, is the true test of the spiritual seeker, for that seeker will discover that Father Always provides for their true needs.
D oing good deeds without expectation of anything in return gives one a feeling of elation in the moment that no other experience can provide.
N ow is the only moment we have to be good to one another as well as to ourselves. Let us choose wisely in each "now" opportunity Our Father provides.
E ven in moments of doubt and fear, one must make a choice of action. When one chooses the intent of goodness in an act of faith in those bleak moments, one is illuminated in consciousness to a greater degree than when one chooses to act with goodness in a situation of surety.
S uch is the Glory that Our Father provides in this life that we have a thousand opportunities each day to give loving service to another.
S eek the Father's Will each day and the discovery will be that the only choice that feels right is the choice of kindness and loving service to your brothers and sisters.

The Prayer
**********
Dear God,
I want to be Your Goodness. Guide my every thought, word, and deed that I may reflect You and Your Love more fully each day in my interactions with others.

May we all consciously choose our will to be His Will, for in that choice the action is ours and the Glorious consequences are God's.

Minister Jill
