I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much.

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within. I will be gone for 5 days helping my step-son Sean and his family move from Las Vegas to Pullman WA. That's why the Sunday Service is on Saturday this week.

Do you Trust God with Complete Control of your Life?

The topic of today's Sunday Service, #370, is Trust…

Quotes

(From: Sidney Madwed)

Trust: Just as you would not want to do business with someone you can't trust, this law simply stated is: When you can completely trust the process of the universe and life, you will be supplied abundantly and you will be able to make your life work just the way you want it. And the trust you give and have must be 100% or it is zero. It cannot be given under one condition and not under another. There are many things we trust with our lives and have no concern about. Such as: the sun will come up every day; the law of gravity works all the time; the pilot who pilots the plane we fly on, is competent; our garbage is picked up on certain days. If we could not trust the things we take for granted will occur without any effort on our part, the fear for our well being would be so great we would not be able to enjoy our lives. Can you imagine what the world would be like, if we could not trust the food we buy, the water we drink or that the people we depend on would not manipulate or harm us? But the only way we can expect others to trust us is, we need to be trustworthy ourselves, and especially to ourselves. Unfortunately, many people don't trust themselves and the judgments and decisions they make. Therefore, they experience disharmony with their lives and their world.

(From: Ham - 9/25/96 – the Nashville TeaM)
Trust is not just some vague notion that everything will work out in the end. Actual spiritual trust can be a daily or even an hourly exercise in letting go. But, or course, you must do the work that is given you, it is the outcome that you must leave to the Father. You know that in this world you must toil to earn your bread, and this is the way of this world. So, if you toil, you can trust that the bread will come, and if you toil, doing God's will, in the very most specific way you can understand it, then there must be a trust that the bread will come.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-196 Section-0)
In the earthly life of Jesus, religion was a living experience, a direct and personal movement from spiritual reverence to practical righteousness. The faith of Jesus bore the transcendent fruits of the divine spirit. His faith was not immature and credulous like that of a child, but in many ways it did resemble the unsuspecting trust of the child mind. Jesus trusted God much as the child trusts a parent. He had a profound confidence in the universe--just such a trust as the child has in its parental environment. Jesus' wholehearted faith in the fundamental goodness of the universe very much resembled the child's trust in the security of its earthly surroundings. He depended on the heavenly Father as a child leans upon its earthly parent, and his fervent faith never for one moment doubted the certainty of the heavenly Father's overcare. He was not disturbed seriously by fears, doubts, and skepticism. Unbelief did not inhibit the free and original expression of his life. He combined the stalwart and intelligent courage of a full-grown man with the sincere and trusting optimism of a believing child. His faith grew to such heights of trust that it was devoid of fear.

(From: Ham - 2/16/2003 – the Nashville TeaM)
You will find your way in the world as the Father wills it. You will have everything you need for the journey and sometimes that very need is part of the journey, part of what spurs you forward. The Father will take excellent care of you if you will but trust him. Trust him with everything you have. Trust him with your life, all your worldly possessions, but above all trust him with your love. Know that when you love God, he will never take that love for granted.

(From: Barbara Streisand)
A human being is only interesting if he's in contact with himself. I learned you have to trust yourself, be what you are, and do what you ought to do the way you should do it. You have got to discover you, what you do, and trust it.

(From: Cardinal de Retz)
A man who doesn't trust himself can never truly trust anyone else.

(From: Henry L. Stimson (1867 - 1950)
The chief lesson I have learned in a long life is that the only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him; and the surest way to make him untrustworthy is to distrust him and show your distrust.

(From: Shakti Gawain)
When I'm trusting and being myself... everything in my life reflects this by falling into place easily, often miraculously.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-103 Section-9)
The ideal of religious philosophy is such a faith-trust as would lead man unqualifiedly to depend upon the absolute love of the infinite Father of the universe of universes. Such a genuine religious experience far transcends the philosophic objectification of idealistic desire; it actually takes salvation for granted and concerns itself only with learning and doing the will of the Father in Paradise.

A southern Baptist minister was completing a temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said, "If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the wine in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river."

And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he said, "And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." Sermon complete, he then sat down. The song leader stood very cautiously and announced with a smile, "For our closing song, let us sing Hymn #365, Shall We Gather at the River."

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

When I returned home from helping my Stepson and his family move from Las Vegas, NV to Pullman, WA (home of the WSU Cougars) late this last Wednesday, I found a blanket of Snow covering everything here that wasn't there when I left last Saturday. Much of it is still here. The Light and Life Sanctuary is in the first stages of it's Winter Dormancy. The Fruits have Fruited relatively Abundantly this year and the Next Growing Season Promises to surpass it by a Threefold at the very Least.

Thank You Father!

Do you ever get tired of the way things are in the world?

How much does it effect who you are and who you are striving to become?
Need it really affect you at All?

The topic of today's Sunday Service, #371, is “What is Independence?”

Quotes

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-141 Section-5)
James Zebedee had asked, "Master, how shall we learn to see alike and thereby enjoy more harmony among ourselves?" When Jesus heard this question, he was stirred within his spirit, so much so that he replied: "James, James, when did I teach you that you should all see alike? I have come into the world to proclaim spiritual liberty to the end that mortals may be empowered to live individual lives of originality and freedom before God. I do not desire that social harmony and fraternal peace shall be purchased by the sacrifice of free personality and spiritual originality. What I require of you, my apostles, is spirit unity--and that you can experience in the joy of your united dedication to the wholehearted doing of the will of my Father in heaven. You do not have to see alike or feel alike or even think alike in order spiritually to be alike. Spiritual unity is derived from the consciousness that each of you is indwelt, and increasingly dominated, by the spirit gift of the heavenly Father. Your apostolic harmony must grow out of the fact that the spirit hope of each of you is identical in origin, nature, and destiny.

(From: Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)
The aim (of education) must be the training of independently acting and thinking individuals who, however, can see in the service to the community their highest life achievement.

(From: The RSV Bible - Matthew 22:36-40)
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets."

(From: Bertrand Russell (1872 - 1970)
Passive acceptance of the teacher's wisdom is easy to most boys and girls. It involves no effort of independent thought, and seems rational because the teacher knows more than his pupils; it is moreover the way to win the favour of the teacher unless he is a very exceptional man. Yet the habit of passive acceptance is a disastrous one in later life. It causes man to seek and to accept a leader, and to accept as a leader whoever is established in that position.

(From: Thomas J. Watson)
Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker. Expose your ideas to the dangers of controversy. Speak your mind and fear less the label of 'crackpot' than the stigma of conformity. And on issues that seem important to you, stand up and be counted at any cost.

(From: Ralph Charell)
Avoid the crowd. Do your own thinking independently. Be the chess player, not the chess piece.

(From: Henry David Thoreau (1817 - 1862)
A simple and independent mind does not toil at the bidding of any prince.

(From: William Cobbett (1763 - 1835)
It is not the greatness of a man's means that makes him independent, so much as the smallness of his wants.

(From: W. Somerset Maugham (1874 - 1965), 'Of Human Bondage', 1915)
It is not wealth one asks for, but just enough to preserve one's dignity, to work unhampered, to be generous, frank and independent.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-34 Section-6)
It is the presence of the divine Spirit, the water of life, that prevents the consuming thirst of mortal discontent and that indescribable hunger of the unspiritualized human mind. Spirit-motivated beings "never thirst, for this spiritual water shall be in them a well of satisfaction springing up into life everlasting." Such divinely watered souls are all but independent of material environment as regards the joys of living and the satisfactions of earthly existence. They are spiritually illuminated and refreshed, morally strengthened and endowed.

(From: Jessona - 7/27/03 – the North Idaho TeaM)
The beginning of loving wisely is the development first in oneself of the approach of loving first and the lessening of the requirement that one be loved, for the natural tendency of reciprocal love is temporal and fragile, and to enter into love as if it were the balancing of books can create heartache. Loving wisely is the development of the understanding of the divine source of love, its eternal manifestation, and the development in one's character of this ability to love with no love in return. This eternal love safeguards the soul; it makes the soul independent of being loved conditionally. Following this first stage is the next stage of giving love in a manner in which it is of service, knowing what form the love must take to help another individual, whether it be to provide, whether it be to withhold, whether it is to support or to abstain. Realizing love as independent, unconditional love, one can then apply love wisely, discerningly. One is not emotionally drawn into loving hunger that another may wisely seek to pressure you into giving. The development of wisdom-love is first the experience of its source, that being God, and through this illumination the ability to manifest it to benefit others, and all the while your expression of love is independent of reception of any condition of acceptance or rejection. Then you are able to love your fellows be they saints or sinners and to do so such that they will derive benefit from the love that you have expressed.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-118 Section-10)
The love of the Father operates directly in the heart of the individual, independent of the actions or reactions of all other individuals; the relationship is personal--man and God.

The Sermon
***********
I don't know why, but it bothers something within my Soul to see how so many are so manipulated in their thinking and acting these days. Does that aggravate you too?

I guess it might not bother me so much, if Material Greed (for Power, for Wealth, for Position) were not the Primary Motivation of the Majority of the Manipulation... but it Is. One can easily observe the Greed in Politics... it's in the News, it's even sometimes found in organized Religion, it is Most Assuredly found in Advertising... it's in the price of Gas, it's in the price of Food, it's in the price of Vehicles, it's in the price of Medications... Why is Greed so Prevalent in today's world and Why do so many people allow themselves to be Manipulated by it? Why do People Fall for it? Why do they Buy Into It? How many people are even Aware that they are being Manipulated by Greed?

None of us are 100% Completely Immune to the trappings of Social Pressure... of Social Inertia... nor to the desire for Social Acceptance. Humans are Inherently Social Beings and God Designed us that way for a Reason... So that we could Learn to Love. One cannot Love in Isolation... Love must be Shared for it to be Alive... and Love Must be Alive or it is no more than a Memory of the Past.

What if we were all to Claim our Personal Independence?
...and allow Others to do the same? Now, I'm not talking about License, Lawlessness, or Lack of Personal Responsibility. Rather, the Personal Independence I'm talking about is the Independence to Think for oneself... the Independence to Reason for oneself... the Independence to have an Individual Dream and to Pursue it... the Independence to Depend Wholly upon God for our next Step, our next Path, our next Choice Opportunity, instead of upon what present “social standards” and “they” try to impose upon us.

The most Complete and Satisfying Experiences of Personal Independence that I have EVER felt in my life, came at those times when I was willing to Depend Exclusively on God.

It may sound like somewhat of a paradox to be Totally Dependent upon God and at the same time be Supremely Independent as an Individual... it is my experience that it's not a paradox at All, but “The Way, the Truth and the Life” for me.

I once thought that being Personally Independent meant that I was totally dependent upon Myself and None Other... Not even God. How Unsatisfying it was... how Frustrating... how Isolating... how Lonely... How Wrong I was.

It wasn't until the first time I inwardly declared my Total Dependence upon God, that I truly tasted Personal Independence in this World... a Freedom beyond my Imagination. It is indeed taking me a Long time to appreciate and incorporate that I must Continually, even Constantly Reaffirm my Dependence upon my Divine Parent (trying to do it all at once and then forgetting about it never seems to Work for very long... Does it? <g>). I pray that One day I will perfectly “Get It” and that it will be a Permanent Part of my very Nature to Depend Entirely upon God, but existence in this world of ours doesn't actually make it at all easy, know what I mean?

Declare Dependence on God, Receive Personal Independence as the Reward.

No one Knows for Sure... until they Try it.

*******************************************
The Prayer

Dear God,
On You I Do Depend. Thank You for the Gift of Freedom and Independence to follow wherever You may Lead me.

How do you know the difference between what is Your Will and what is God's Will?

The topic of today's Sunday Service, #372, is Doing God's Will…

********************************************
Quotes
*******
(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-180 Section-2)
How long will it take the world of believers to understand that prayer is not a process of getting your way but rather a program of taking God's way, an experience of learning how to recognize and execute the Father's will? It is entirely true that, when your will has been truly aligned with his, you can ask anything conceived by that will-union, and it will be granted.

(From: Abraham - 9/26/99– the Woods Cross TeaM)
Be not afraid to allow your emotions to release the human will to aligning with the Father's. When you become comfortable with the divine will then your trials are not so big, not so overwhelming. You can find strength from that source within, the source of all strength. You can master your difficulties and not be enslaved to them when you are in alignment with Father's will and wholeheartedly willing to drink the cup.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-146 Section-2)
When you have become wholly dedicated to the doing of the will of the Father in heaven, the answer to all your petitions will be forthcoming because your prayers will be in full accordance with the Father's will, and the Father's will is ever manifest throughout his vast universe. What the true son desires and the infinite Father wills IS. Such a prayer cannot remain unanswered, and no other sort of petition can possibly be fully answered.

(From: Solonia 11/30/93 – the Spokane/North Idaho TeaM)
Continue always to seek what God would have you do in any situation, in any point of your day, in every feeling, longing, desire. In this way you will be doing His will. Your life will blossom. Your fruits will appear. They will ripen and they will seed your environment. You will see growth in the seeds of your planting. Ever keep His will in the forefront of your desires.

(From: Mantutia - 11/8/03– the Southern Colorado TeaM)
Do not be too small in your opinion, compared to God, to ask for what you need. Yet, do not ask too specifically as to limit what you might receive. You must think grandly and allow the greatest good to come forward through you and to you; know that it will be so; know that it IS so; know that it is actually occurring right now.

(From: David B. Haight)
Love is this divine ingredient. It alone describes what can be our perfect relationship to our Heavenly Father and our family and neighbors, and the means by which we accomplish His work.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-117 Section-4)
The more closely man approaches God through love, the greater the reality--actuality--of that man. The more man withdraws from God, the more nearly he approaches nonreality--cessation of existence. When man consecrates his will to the doing of the Father's will, when man gives God all that he has, then does God make that man more than he is.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-132 Section-7)
That which the enlightened and reflective human imagination of spiritual teaching and leading wholeheartedly and unselfishly wants to do and be, becomes measurably creative in accordance with the degree of mortal dedication to the divine doing of the Father's will. When man goes in partnership with God, great things may, and do, happen.

*******************************************
The Sermon
***********
How can a person Know, for a Certainty, that they are doing God's Will, the Father's Will, the Divine Will? How can they Truly Know that they are not being mislead by the trappings of egotistical Wish fulfillment, Selfish desires, or Ego's incessant Glory seeking? Ego can be Exceedingly Deceitful, and Rare Indeed is the Spiritual Striver who is not fooled from time to time by the relentless clamoring for attention, the deceitful manipulations of purpose and intent, or the subtle temptation of pride that ego uses to insure it's foothold in the decision making process.

How can ya' Really Know that it is God's Will and not “My” will?

Can you? Is it Possible? Wouldn't it be almost better to do nothing at All than to make the mistake of serving the ego?

I believe a person Can Discern and Do God's will. I Know that it Must be Possible because Discovering and Doing God's will IS God's Will.., wouldn't you suppose? And as far as being Idle or doing nothing at all in fear of doing the “wrong” thing well... Who's will do you think That course of action/inaction serves?

It is my own experience that sitting around idle waiting for God's Will to happen in my life gets No results. I don't know about how it is for You, but for me it seems that God's Will continually Unfolds, and that it is a process of Active Discovery and Personal Participation. I must take a purposeful step Towards what I Think is God's Will for me and then learn from the outcome of the step. Was Love my motivation for that step? Did I Serve others in taking the step? Did the step flow smoothly or did it feel like I was running into immovable obstacles?

I think that discovering Father's Will for ME is a process of learning where My will and the Divine Will are in accord, and where they are Not... When is what I want and what God wants the same... when is it different?

Am I willing to accept the outcome or am I trying to Force it?
Am I willing to Learn or trying to Prove?
Is my motivation altruistic or is it selfish?
Does it benefit or hurt others?
Does it give me a sense of Childlike Wonder or smugness?
Do obstacles give me another direction to pursue or do they thwart my every move?

These are questions that I must continually ask myself in my search for God's Will in my life.

I find that when I am Sincerely Seeking to do Father's Will, I will be shown the way. When I ask... “What is Your Will for me Right Now Father?” ...that I am given choices to make. There are times when Obstacles are Directional Signs and times where they are Barriers, and learning which is which is the key to Ultimate success. I've Also found that I cannot Avoid Obstacles completely... that they are there for a Purpose. When I find myself completely surrounded by obstacles, it is evidence that somewhere I have gotten off of the Path and that I must find where I Left it, re-enter the Path, and try another direction.

God wants us to be happy. God wants us to succeed. God wants us to fulfill our Dreams.

The Empowering Question is:

“What is Your Will for me Right Now Father?”

Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

The topic of today's Sunday Service, #373, is Intuition/Guidance…

********************************************
Quotes
*******
(From: D. H. Lawrence (1885 - 1930)

For whereas the mind works in possibilities, the intuitions work in actualities, and what you intuitively desire, that is possible to you. Whereas what you mentally or "consciously" desire is nine times out of ten impossible; hitch your wagon to a star, or you will just stay where you are.

(From: Shakti Gawain)
Every time you don't follow your inner guidance, you feel a loss of energy, loss of power, a sense of spiritual deadness.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-34 Section-6)
The Spirit never drives, only leads. If you are a willing learner, if you want to attain spirit levels and reach divine heights, if you sincerely desire to reach the eternal goal, then the divine Spirit will gently and lovingly lead you along the pathway of sonship and spiritual progress. Every step you take must be one of willingness, intelligent and cheerful co-operation. The domination of the Spirit is never tainted with coercion nor compromised by compulsion.
And when such a life of spirit guidance is freely and intelligently accepted, there gradually develops within the human mind a positive consciousness of divine contact and assurance of spirit communion; sooner or later "the Spirit bears witness with your spirit (the Adjuster) that you are a child of God."

(From: Shakti Gawain)
What I am actually saying is that we need to be willing to let our intuition guide us, and then be willing to follow that guidance directly and fearlessly.

(From: The RSV Bible - Psalm 48:14)
that this is God, our God for ever and ever. He will be our guide for ever.

(From: Anthony J. D'Angelo, The College Blue Book)
Listen to your intuition. It will tell you everything you need to know.

(From: The RSV Bible - Psalm 73:24-26)
Thou dost guide me with thy counsel, and afterward thou wilt receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is nothing upon earth that I desire besides thee. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion for ever.

(From: Ham - 1991 – the Early Woods Cross TeaM)
When people turn to God, to the Lord, to the path, to love, His guidance is here, His guidance will follow. His guidance will change and renew and restore this world. This is our purpose and your purpose also.

(From: Abraham - 10/30/93– the Woods Cross TeaM)
Some have said it to be instinct, perhaps a gut feeling. Somehow you just know. Somehow you have listened and you just know.
The Indwelling Father Fragment does indeed play a role in the area of intuition. You could say He is somewhat like a transmitter helping to guide you in certain directions. With the spiritual circuits becoming more open this feeling of knowingness will become quite natural. It will seem quite ordinary to experience a certain feeling and act upon that feeling.

(From: Ham - 1991 – the Early Woods Cross TeaM)
Each of you has guidance, and this guidance can be strong or weak or non-existent. Therefore, by your decisions, you strengthen your reception of guidance by choosing the Father's will. By so choosing, it is easier. By so choosing, you lighten your burden. By so choosing, life becomes a pleasure, not a struggle. You become a fountain of spiritual refreshment to your fellows, not a burden to them. You become a light in the darkness to all around you, not another stumbling block in their darkness. The light within your heart will shine brighter, the love that you bestow upon your fellows more genuine, and your happiness will increase. Happiness is not found anywhere else, not true happiness.

(From: Abraham - 10/30/93– the Woods Cross TeaM)
Ask. To have an attitude of asking “Father, what is my focus”...is to open the door to intuition and inner knowledge. You will see as you become consciously aware of Father's leadings that these experiences are quite normal and you will understand you have already been experiencing them quite frequently. But I say, to recognize and witness Father's creative works in action is cause for praise to Him, and rejoicing within your heart.

(From: The RSV Bible - Isaiah 58:11)
And the LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your desire with good things, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-142 Section-6)
"Already does the spirit of the Father in heaven indwell you. If you would be led by this spirit from above, very soon would you begin to see with the eyes of the spirit, and then by the wholehearted choice of spirit guidance would you be born of the spirit since your only purpose in living would be to do the will of your Father who is in heaven. And so finding yourself born of the spirit and happily in the kingdom of God, you would begin to bear in your daily life the abundant fruits of the spirit."

(From: Jar-El - 11/14/93– the Arcadia TeaM)
Rely on your intuition much more than you have. Allow the first voice to be that of the Father. Be diligent in this effort, and you will be rewarded with success. Practice, practice, practice.

(From: Fritjof Capra, physicist)
During periods of relaxation after concentrated intellectual activity, the intuitive mind seems to take over and can produce the sudden clarifying insights which give so much joy and delight.

(From: Jar-El - 11/14/93– the Arcadia TeaM)
When you seek the Stillness and have quieted your mind, you are calling upon your intuition to supply you with information that does not come through your other senses. The information is available. So when you ask of your intuition a question, the answer is forthcoming speedily. You must be receptive and not doubt the process.

(From: Alan Alda)
Be brave enough to live creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You cannot get there by bus, only by hard work, risking and by not quite knowing what you are doing. What you will discover will be wonderful; yourself.

I would much rather follow my personal intuitions and find out that I was only being duped by wishful thinking, than ignore an Intuition and miss out on a single opportunity for Loving Divine Guidance.

Wouldn't You?

Dear God,
You are “the still small voice” that speaks to my Soul. May Your voice be that Intuition that Guides me through every human choice I must make.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal
Parent,

The Creator's Infinite Love to all of You,

In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican.

Quotes
*******
(From: The RSV Bible – Deuteronomy 26:11)

and you shall rejoice in all the good which the LORD your God has given to you and to your house, you, and the Levite, and the sojourner who is among you.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-1 Section-5)
Even though material mortals cannot see the person of God, they should rejoice in the assurance that he is a person; by faith accept the truth which portrays that the Universal Father so loved the world as to provide for the eternal spiritual progression of its lowly inhabitants; that he "delights in his children." God is lacking in none of those superhuman and divine attributes which constitute a perfect, eternal, loving, and infinite Creator personality.

(From: The RSV Bible – Romans 12:12)
Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

(From: Epictetus – 55 AD-135 AD)
A wise man is he who does not grieve for the thing which he has not, but rejoices for those which he has.

(From: Anatolia - 9/7/2003 – the Rio Rancho NM TeaM)
When you remember the harmony of life and the balance sought and enjoyed in your dual nature, rejoice that the effort of learning, the exertion of serving, is naturally balanced by the power of prayer and the sanctity of worship, the joy of praise, and the art of living. This richness that you know is enhanced by the love you share with each other

(From: Anastacia – 2/26/1993 – the Dallas, Texas TeaM
Take action, make things right again. The quicker the better, for then you don't shift out of the Father's love. By continually moving into this flow of the Father's love, you activate the energy charge that is most powerful. Love comes freely to you from the Father's goodness. He loves you SO MUCH. This is what compels you to share this love. It can't be contained, so give it to others. Stay in the movement of love. This flowing love has no end. Love keeps extending into larger circles. It ripples outward and upward back to God, who is the center of love. Rejoice because you are loveable.

(From: SigEL, - 12/26/1992– the Kona TeaM)
Rejoice in the beauties of His work. Enjoy your life. It is full of surprises and joys of service. Take time to rest. This is very important and easily overlooked by all due to your amazing lifestyles.

(From: Bertram - 1999 – the Cambridge, Ontario, Canada TeaM)
You are all different, yet make up a complete and whole human race in your diversity. Rejoice in the truths of your differences, in the variety of each and every child of God. Appreciate and love one another in your diversity and realize you are all a part of even a greater extension of diversity in unity throughout the universes.

(From: Thomas A. Kempis – 1380-1471)
Love flies, runs, and rejoices; it is free and nothing can hold it back.

(From: Unseen Friend, - 12/26/1992– the Kona TeaM)
Rejoice at the chance to meet someone new. Take hold of each other and let the blessings flow.

(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-100 Section-7)
This man of Galilee was not a man of sorrows; he was a soul of gladness. Always was he saying, "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad." But when duty required, he was willing to walk courageously through the "valley of the shadow of death." He was gladsome but at the same time humble.

The Sermon
***********
Good morning, dear friends. I have been overwhelmed with a need to rejoice within my heart every moment since having such a blessed Thanksgiving Day. I had so much to rejoice about! All of my family was able to be at our home for Thanksgiving this year. Love abounded and there was much joyous laughter the entire day and evening. So, I thought I would pass on the idea of rejoicing for today's Sunday Service.

Rejoice that you are among the fortunate who know that Your Father in Heaven loves you.
Rejoice that His Love for you has taught you how to love one another.

Rejoice that you have family and friends who love you and whom you love in return.
Rejoice each time you find yourself feeling love for another.

Rejoice in the little everyday things that bring you happiness.
Rejoice in the good fortune of your friends that creates happiness for them.

Rejoice in the God-given beauty of sunsets and sunrises.
Rejoice that you can appreciate a bird in song.

Rejoice that you recognize the good in others and praise them.
Rejoice that you have learned that it is okay to accept praise from others.

Rejoice that you enjoy raising your voice in song.
Rejoice that you can laugh with joy, despite your sorrows.

Rejoice that you are kind.
Rejoice that others are kind to you.

Rejoice that you receive such pleasure in being in service to others.
Rejoice that you feel God's love in your life.

Rejoice that you have faith.
Rejoice in living your faith.

REJOICE THAT YOU ARE GOD'S CHILD!
REJOICE THAT GOD LOVES YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

The Prayer
**********
Father,
Thank you for dwelling within each of us that we might know and experience the meaning of rejoicing for all that is good, true, and beautiful in our lives and in our personal actions.

We ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal Parent.
Let us Rejoice!

Minister Jill
