Story of the Week
The Child and the Pinion Tree
(By: Leila M. Turner 1991)

How come you are so magnificent?
This is pure essence, my child.
How can I be that?
Just be who you are.

How come you are so strong?
Because I stand in my power, my child.
How can I do that?
Just use all that you are.

All these dead branches and needles around you... are you sick?
Oh no, my child!... but why carry what no longer supports my growth? Isn't it a waste of energy?
Yes, I guess... but how can I do that?

Just let go of yesterday that is not serving you today.
Make space in your heart for you to grow and expand.
Let go of your judgments from the past,
and let go of your expectations for the future.

Just listen to the wind,
look at the clouds and the stars,
smell my fragrance, taste my fruit,
feel life around you and within you.
Let that feed you.

The Prayer
Dear God,
        In You, I find Everything.
        In Everything, I find You.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal

The Creator's Eternal Love to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
