Greetings my Dearest Sisters and Brothers, and welcome again to Church Within's Story of the Week ["SOW Seeds"].

Well, Well… our 200th SOW Seeds Story of the Week! It doesn't at all seem like it's been that long.

By the way… we could use some new stories from y'all out there if you have some Good ones we haven't used yet. Because we keep all of the SOW Seeds Stories at our web-site for permanent viewing in the "SOW Seeds Archives" we only use a story once… no repeats. That would mean you could go to our Church Within web-site and find 200 different stories with a Spiritual Message to copy and share if you were so inclined.

Today's Story, in my opinion, is Exceptionally Appropriate for our 200th SOW Seeds Service!!

Story of the Week
"The Journey"
(By Bob Perks - Bob@BobPerks.com)
She heard the Voice say, "Come follow me.  I will take you there."
"Where are we going?" she asked nervously.
"To the place where all journeys begin.   A place where the world all comes together and the anguish you now feel will melt away," said the Voice.
"Will I recognize this place?"
"Not at first.  In fact, once you see the beauty of it, you'll deny it even exists."
"Why would I do that?"
"Because lies and broken promises paved the path you chose to travel.  After a while you accepted them as truth.  You began to live the lies as if they were the only choice you had to make.  I tried desperately to reach you, but you would not listen."
"I wanted happiness."
"You always had the happiness you were seeking.  But you searched outside yourself.  You believed that the things of the world would make you happy."
"Look at me.  I have those things.  But still I'm not happy."
"Then listen to what I have to tell you."
Gently, gradually the noise and thunder of the world began to fade away.  There was silence.  So quiet, in fact,  that she began to feel uncomfortable.
"Have I died?  Is this what death is like? I hear nothing," she said.
"Clear your mind.  Release yourself from all the stuff of the world.  Turn away from the voice of doubt and fear.  Once you do, once you let go, you will have arrived at our destination."
"Are we there?"
"Do you feel at ease?"
"I want to.  I'm tired of all the things that have gone wrong in my life."
"Then let them go," said the Voice.  "They are nothing compared to all that you have already."
"What do I have?"
"Close your eyes.  Look inside yourself.  See yourself as happy.  How do your feel when you are happy?"
"The joy is immeasurable," she said.
"It is the joy you were given.  How do you look?"
"I don't know.  I can't see myself that way."
"There.  There is the door to the place you need to go."
"Where?" she asked.
"You said you can't see yourself that way.  The reason you are not happy is you can't see yourself as happy.  How can you be something you can't see?" asked the Voice.
"Where is this happy place?"
"Inside where you can hear the Voice of reason, of love, of kindness, of immeasurable joy."
"But the power of the world outside is great." she said.
"But He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world.  Repeat that, believe that, accept that and..."
"Wait, I see it.  I see myself clearly now.  That's me?  Oh, God I want so desperately to be all that I see before me,"
"I created you to be," said the Voice.
"You, my God, you are the Voice!"
"Yes, God within you."
"He that is in me is greater than he that is in the world," she said as tears cleansed her soul.  "I am not dead!"
"No,  nor am I.  I created the world but live inside each of you.  I am the Voice within, the place of peace and answer to all questions."
"The answers I searched for were with me all the time."
