Greetings my Dearest Sisters and Brothers, and welcome again to Church Within's Story of the Week ["SOW Seeds”].

Well… I'm finally back from my trip to San Diego!! Thank God we Made it in one piece… driving through snow and ice and the most Brutal Rain Storm in California Memory… down the coast on US 101 since I-5 was closed between Oregon and California… nearly 400 extra miles out of the way!!! The trip was a success though, and it was Good to see my mom again. Even though her Alzheimer's kept her from remembering my name, relationship or any of life's other incidentals, the Flash of Loving Soul Contact I received in her eyes let me know that she truly did Know me… only the mortal details were missing. It was a great Feeling to see that the Real her was still there and In the Moment.

I Truly Missed the ability to share the Stories of the Week with you, and the Sunday Services while I was away from my computer. It was the first time anything like this has happened since we first started doing the on-line services back in 1996. I am resolved not to let it happen again.
To Insure this, and so that I may also do on time Services while at Spiritual Conferences and other unforeseen Trips that will continue to come up in the future, we will need to get a new lap-top computer for the Church Within. We have already received $150.00 in Donations to the Church Within this year that will be earmarked for this exact purpose, and as soon as we receive enough in further Donations to this Cause, we will get a new Dell Lap-Top to serve in this function. The cost for one that will adequately serve our purposes is around $1250.00, so I am putting it out to all who appreciate and benefit from our Church Within Bi-Weekly Services to help us Reach our Goal. So Many of you have generously come through in the past when the Church was in need, and we would Greatly Value any financial help you could give us toward this endeavor. Your Support is Deeply Appreciated!!!

If you wish to help us with this, you may send your tax-deductible donation to:

Church Within - LapTop
1004 S. Millsap Loop
Post Falls, ID 83854

We are at $150.00 so far, and I will keep you regularly posted on our progress toward these ends. Thank you So Much!

Story of the Week
"Break the Ice"
(©2004 By Bob Perks - Bob@BobPerks.com )

"Look at how low those tree branches are!" my neighbor shouted. "That's going to come crashing down!"
"It's stronger than you think," I said.
"Well, if it doesn't break it will freeze to death," he replied.
Every single branch of the tree was covered in ice. Although the sun was not shining through the clouds, the light danced on the branches. Tiny drops of water dripped ever so slowly down the outstretched arms of the mighty giant. Pausing along the way, they were suddenly captured in stillness until the sun could set them free once more.
"I've seen that tree bent over so low it touched the ground. It's a sturdy old tree," I said.
"hmmmm," he mumbled not exactly sure he agreed.
"Besides, it has strong roots. It will be breaking the ice before the ice breaks it," I told him.
I stopped. I stood there looking at him.
It was an amazing moment for me.
I've been frozen in place many times in my life. I have felt the weight of the challenges in my life dragging me down. I physically felt lower, slower, closer to the ground then when I was confident and stress free.
I appeared to be lifeless, nearly broken.
So why didn't I come crashing down?
My roots. My roots are strong in my faith. My will to survive is strong.
Even in the still, dark, cold of the winter of your life, know that if you have faith, you may bend, but you will not break.
Faith will "Break the Ice" of fear.

Pastor's Quote of the Week (New)
(From: The Urantia Papers - Paper-102 Section-6)
Belief may not be able to resist doubt and withstand fear, but faith is always triumphant over doubting, for faith is both positive and living. The positive always has the advantage over the negative, truth over error, experience over theory, spiritual realities over the isolated facts of time and space. The convincing evidence of this spiritual certainty consists in the social fruits of the spirit which such believers, faithers, yield as a result of this genuine spiritual experience. Said Jesus: "If you love your fellows as I have loved you, then shall all men know that you are my disciples."

The Prayer
Dear God,
Help us to let our Faith in You, overcome the inherent fears of life on a world such as this

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal Parent,

The Creator's Eternal Love to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
