Story of the Week
The Little Boy and the Little Old Man
(By Shel Silverstein)

Said the little boy, Sometimes I drop my spoon.

Said the little old man, I do that, too.

The little boy whispered, I wet my pants.

I do, too, laughed the little old man.

Said the little boy, I often cry.

The old man nodded, So do I.

But worst of all, said the little boy,

It seems grown-ups don't pay attention to me.

And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand,

I know what you mean, said the little old man.

Pastor's Quote of the Week
I will never be an old man. To me, old age is always 15 years older than I am.

(From: Bernard M. Baruch (1870 - 1965 )

The Prayer
Dear God,
You must find it pretty hilarious when any of us think of ourselves as old... but when our human bodies become so weak and tired and frail, it is hard for us to think of ourselves in any other way.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal Parent,

The Creator's Eternal Love to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
