Story of the Week
“Love me now”
(By Bob Perks)

There is nothing you can do to change the past. The task at hand, the real purpose of you and I is to do what we can while we have the time.

If you want to change tomorrow make use of today. For in a split second, a moment unexpected, everything can end as we know it.

So, love me now.

Don't waste your time reflecting on what you should have said. Don't spend another moment wishing you had, thinking you should have done things differently.

Simply do all you can to make this very moment ours.

Love me now.

What little chance was there that you and I should meet? What time, fate and happenstance provided, we should take advantage of by moving forward. Not that I don't love your embrace, but sitting still is such a waste of time, when walking beside you makes me feel strong enough to face the world and all that may come our way.

Instead, side by side, let the world embrace us. Let's make every movement freely, unplanned and even foolish at times. That way the world won't see us coming and surprise will be our friend.

Love me now, please don't wait until the right time, place or alignment of the stars. This time, this place, that moon, is ours right now. So love me. Love me now.

And on the last minute of the last day of my life I will close my eyes and breathe the sigh that lovers make. The sound of contentment. The rush of air that releases the spirit of earthly bond, will take me home and I will be in heaven waiting for you there...

Because you love me now.

Pastor's Quote of the Week
I am not yours, not lost in you,
Not lost, although I long to be
Lost as a candle lit at noon,
Lost as a snowflake in the sea. You love me, and I find you still A spirit beautiful and bright, Yet I am I, who long to be Lost as a light is lost in light.

(From: Sara Teasdale (1884 - 1933 )

The Prayer
Dear God,
Now is where You are... Now is where Love is.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal Parent,

The Creator's Eternal Love to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
