Greetings my Dearest Sisters and Brothers, and welcome again to Church Within's Story of the Week ["SOW Seeds].

Thought you ALL [Ok... All right... Some of you then ;-)], might like to know where we are at with the tractor (Back Hoe) for building the Church Within "Light and Life Retreat Garden". So far, in one week we have had $3,000. pledged toward it's purchase. [Yeah... I know it sounds like a PBS Telethon. Sorry...] Anyways... we are 2/3rds of the way there, and I just want to again Thank everyone who is helping to make this phase of the retreat center a reality. I have decided to Sculpt a large Pine Tribute to go in the Lobby of the Main Building (when we build it), carved with all of the names of the contributors that helped us to get the Equipment [ie: Tractor] to make possible the roads, trails, parking area, meditation sites, fruit orchards, building foundations, etc.
Without You All, this couldn't be Happening for Many Years yet! All we need now is $1,500. and we can begin to Rock and Roll... or is that, begin Rolling the Rocks? Anyways... That's where we stand at present. Thank you once again!

Story of the Week
"The Man Who Had Plenty"
(by :Jerry Ullman)

Once there was a family that was not rich and not poor. They lived in Ohio in a small country house. One night they all sat down for dinner, and there was a knock at the door. The father went to the door and opened it.

There stood an old man in tattered clothes, with ripped pants and missing buttons. He was carrying a basket full of vegetables. He asked the family if they wanted to buy some vegetables from him. They quickly did because they wanted him to leave.

Over time, the family and the old man became friends.

The man brought vegetables to the family every week. They soon found out that he was almost blind and had cataracts on his eyes. But he was so friendly that they learned to look forward to his visits and started to enjoy his company.

One day as he was delivering the vegetables, he said, "I had the greatest blessing yesterday! I found a basket of clothes outside my house that someone had left for me."

The family, knowing that he needed clothes, said, "How wonderful!"

The old blind man said, "The most wonderful part is that I found a family that really needed the clothes."

The Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You for Generosity. When I receive it, and when I Give it, I know that You are there Within Instigating it.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal

The Creator's Eternal Love, through me, to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
