Church Within's "Light and Life Garden Retreat" ********************************************
Update:

Well my beloved brothers and sisters, it looks like we MADE IT! Sunday we received a pledge, which should arrive in the mail either today or tomorrow, for the balance needed to purchase the CASE 580CK Loader/Backhoe for Church Within's "Light and Life Garden Retreat!!!" Monday I talked with the tractor owner who said he would deliver it as soon as we bring him the check for $4,000. He told me that in the last two weeks four different people offered him over $6,000. for it, but he told them it was already sold...WHEW!
Any Additional funds received will be used for a new seat, snow-chains, service, maintenance and fuel.

Thank you all SO Much!

"Doing God's Will"
(Author Unknown)

A group of disciples were entrenched in a philosophical discussion about the importance of doing God's will, and yet how difficult it was sometimes to do so.

When the master entered, he overheard them. Wanting to know if they had learned anything he asked, "If it is so difficult to do the will of God, why should you do it?"

One disciple, speaking for the group replied, "Because we will be judged on the last day, and we want to insure our place in the next life."

The master smiled and said, "Doing God's will becomes much easier when you realize that in THIS life, the consequences of not doing so provides punishment enough."

The Prayer
***********
Dear God,
I Know now that You do not punish us... You Only Love. We do the punishing by distancing ourselves from Your Unconditional Love.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal
Parent,

The Creator's Eternal Love, through me, to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
