An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament.

Shortly, he received this reply.

"For HEAVEN'S SAKE Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the MONEY!"

At 4AM the next morning, a dozen police showed up and dug up the entire garden, without finding any money. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asking him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Now plant your potatoes, Dad. It's the best I could do from here."

Who is 'They' Anyway?

'They' always seems to know so much more than you… than me. At least… that's what 'they' say. 'They' is always the experts in every category. 'They' certainly must know what's best for Everybody, Right? 'They' will always be found in support of Every Opinion. It appears as if 'they' also controls everything… 'they' is at the very least, the cause of everything. 'They' makes the rules the rest of us have to live by. 'They' tells us who we are and who we Should be. Don't 'they'?

'They' doesn't choose though… 'I 'chooses. 'They' never cares about others… 'I' cares. 'They' doesn't really know me like 'I' knows me. Does 'they' know you?

'I' doesn't think that 'they' has all the answers…

The Sermon

There is no great show of wisdom in knowing what Others aught do with their choices and with their lives…
Rather is Great Wisdom revealed in knowing what 'I' should choose… and what 'I' should do with 'My' life… and in the Process, Doing so.

The Highest Pinnacle of Mortal Wisdom is approached through the Wholehearted Devotion of 'My' will, to the Constant Discovery, Implementation and Experiencing of God's Will in the living of 'My' life.

Wisdom can be acquired in light of the Past, in preparation for the Future… but Wisdom's True Value is Achieved only by Using it Now, in the present Moment.

It is Always Wise to remember that 'Now' is only the time to actually Be With God.

Being With God… Therein lies True and Everlasting Wisdom!

Dear God,
        When I Come to You with my problems, You offer me Your Wisdom… and it is then, when I allow You to help and guide me Through my problems, that I have indeed accepted it.
