Humor of the Week
"The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is, that one often comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't." -- Henry Ward Beecher

Welcome by: Pastor Daniel
Greetings my Beloved Sisters and Brothers, and welcome once again to the Church that is Within.

To all of you who celebrate it…
Happy Easter!

It is hard to find new topics for Easter…

The topic of today's Easter Sunday Service, #757, is Resurrection…

(From: “Jesus” - The Urantia Book - Paper-68 Section-0)
“I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live. In truth, whosoever lives and believes in me shall never really die.”

(From: The Urantia Book - Paper-190 Section-0)
All this power which is inherent in Jesus — the endowment of life — and which enabled him to rise from the dead, is the very gift of eternal life which he bestows upon kingdom believers, and which even now makes certain their resurrection from the bonds of natural death.

(From: The RSV Bible - Corinthians I 15:42-44)
So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a physical body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body.

(From: The Urantia Book - Paper-174 Section-3)
Those who experience the resurrection from the dead are more like the angels of heaven, and they never die. These resurrected ones are eternally the sons of God; they are the children of light resurrected into the progress of eternal life.

(From: The RSV Bible - Matthew 22:30-32)
For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not God of the dead, but of the living."

(From: Hal Borland)
“To see a hillside white with dogwood bloom is to know a particular ecstasy of beauty, but to walk the gray Winter woods and find the buds which will resurrect that beauty in another May is to partake of continuity.”

The Sermon
All around the world people are today celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ. It is also a day that the emerging new growth of Spring reminds people of the fresh new life resurrected from the dormancy of winter. Children of all ages find excitement and joy in the seeking and finding of hidden treats.

Easter is a day of celebrating Newness and Discovery and indeed Life itself… Life Renewed, Life Resurrected.

The material recycles. It is Life that Resurrects.

The Prayer
Dear God,
May I every morning, Resurrect your Love in my heart and soul.

You ALL are Within the Infinitely Loving Embrace of our Universal

The Creator's Infinite Love to all of You,
Pastor Daniel
